"This was definitely one of the best restaurants on our trip around Catalunya. A plain, down-to-earth, yet refined seafood restaurant with a great, familiar atmosphere. We came for one evening...and reserved the consecutive 2 nights. Highest praise for the authentic Seafood rice ("arroz casero") and anything else on our plates! Reservations highly recommended."

"So, two years since I visited and reviewed Estribord, and I think my first impressions were correct…If you want fine dining, there are plenty of other places in L’Escala to go. BUT if you want excellent seafood and Catalonian tapas at very reasonable prices, this is well worth a visit. It’s a pub, with a few tables outside, there’s a couple of boarded-up building close by…..but the views to sea over the Bay of Roses are spectacular. So, set the bar low then be really pleasantly surprised by a basic pub/restaurant serving the freshest of seafood and Catalonian comfort food, cooked with love, with superb views out to sea."

"This lovely, little restaurant with gorgeous views of the Gulf of Roses has left the best impressions. Hospitable hosts, friendly service and Stunning Seafood. Tapas we had was freshly made, sourced locally and beautifully presented. Yummy deserts! Absolutely worth a visit !"

"Absolutely amazing food with a great view of the ocean. A lot of the orders are a good size for sharing a few different types of plates. We accidentally ended up here after visiting Empuries, and we will definitely come back if we're in the area."
